 FAQs

    • Guests can book for a minimum of 2 hours or select the 4 hour option.

    • For example, a 2 hour charter allows for an hour of boat ride to and from pick-up/drop-off location with an hour of fun or relaxation at Masonboro Island.

  • Up to 6 guests are allowed on the charter. Guests under 18 years old are allowed if accompanied by an adult.

  • Guests will have the option to cruise the Carolina Beach Basin, ride the intracoastal waterway, visit Masonboro Island, or simply anchor somewhere and sit back and relax. It’s completely up to you.

    • Guests will either be picked up at the Wildlife Boat Ramp at 220 Annie Dr, Carolina Beach, NC 28428 or Carolina Beach State Park at 1010 State Park Rd, Carolina Beach, NC 28428

    • Parking is free, but guests must park in designated areas to avoid being towed. As the season picks up, it would be best to carpool or consider getting dropped off at pick-up location.

    • Arrive 15-20 minutes before scheduled booking to ensure your boat charter starts on time. Will need to make sure everyone completes the required waiver.

    • Bring any food or beverages you wish to enjoy while on the water.

    • Plastic cups, napkins/paper towels, plates

    • Alcoholic beverages are allowed with valid identification. Captain reserves the right to stop the charter and return to the dock due to unruly behavior or heavy intoxication without a refund.

    • Beach chairs, towels

    • Sunscreen. If using spray on sunscreen avoid using it while on the boat.

    • Floats

    • Sunglasses, hat

    • DO NOT wear sneakers, sandals or shoes with BLACK SOLES. Wear only white, brown or tan soles, or non- marking soles - or just come barefoot.

    • NO glass containers or bottles permitted.

    • An experienced and certified USCG licensed captain

    • Cooler with ice that can hold your food and beverages.

    • Portable bluetooth speaker

    • Bluetooth connectivity for music while on the boat

    • Child and adult size life jackets

    • Full refund if canceled 72 hours prior to scheduled activity.

    • Option to reschedule if canceled prior to 48 hours of scheduled activity.

    • NO REFUND for cancellations within 24 hours of your scheduled activity.

  • We do our best to not operate when weather conditions are dangerous or unsafe (ie. heavy rain, extreme wind, or lightning. In the event a booking is canceled due to weather, guests will receive a full refund or can reschedule for a different date and time, or receive a gift card good for one year.

  • Tipping is not included in your booking. The standard charter practice is to tip your captain 25-35%. However, while tips are greatly appreciated, they are never expected. It is a way for you to show your appreciation of the service you have received from your captain.
